When the time began, God’s perfect plan.to an Imperfect church to exist in two ways or 2 Senses:
1. The Universal Church- (Greek word ekklesia) it means assembly. that company of souls redeemed by the blood of Christ. Is the Body of All Saved People everywhere.
THE PERFECT SIDE, Planned by a perfect ARCHITECT in the book of Ephesians 3:8-11 the church demonstrates God's wisdom. As a building stands as a demonstration to the wisdom of its designer.
2. The "local Church" - Christians in a geographical area that work and worship together as a congregation of God's people. COMPOSE ONE LOCATION. Includes Christians in a Local Area.
In Matthew 16:18 Jesus promised He would build His church. All serious Bible students agree that He did build His church in the first century. At that time, there was only one church belonging to Jesus and all saved people were in that one church. You can read about that church on nearly every page of your New Testament.
Text: 8 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. Mat. 16:18
Ephesians 3:10,11 says that the church is part of God's eternal plan. The church was so important to God that He planned it from eternity.
The Year 1992 month of February 8, when bro. Joshua de La Cruz, and plus 11 people that time made a clear purpose for the CHURCH.
NYCC, strives to attract people to Jesus, help them with belongingness in His family, NURTURING their faith to Christ like MATURITY, and TRAIN them for their ministry in His Church and purpose in this world, so that they can glorify God’s name. Realizing we can best relate to Filipino-Canadians, we shall strongly keep them in our hearts and minds...
So the purpose of the NYCC, is very clear in a biblical view because it based on the two key backbones of the church...
And it becomes as
1. Our Greatest Commandments...
Matthew 22:37-40 “Jesus said, Love the Lord your God with all you’re your Heart.Soul.and Mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it; Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.
All of Christianity comes down to how we love God and how everything we do - relationships, work, education, displays our love for God. No success, status, or posession will matter at the end of our days. How we loved God and loved others will be our victory.
At the North York Church of Christ, God’s expect you to be A PART of this local congregation.
The NYCC exist because..of membership Commitment.
Is A Commitment to Christ and To A Church Body!
We are all parts of Christ’s Body, and it takes every one of us to make it complete, for we each have different work to do. So we belong to each other and need all the others. Rom. 12:4-5 LB
So the purpose of the NYCC, is very clear in a biblical view because it based on the two key backbones of the church...

2. Our Great Commission...will grow A Great Church.
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Our Mission and Vision Statements
1. Mission Statement.
... We Exist to:
Care for the Needy, Reach Out to the Lost, Sanctify the believer, and Be the Soul of the Community.
2. Vision Statement.
... We Want to Be
A Church that Cares and Reaches to the Lost!
Now, think about it: What can you contribute for the ongoing growth of number of believer in the church? Then the leaders will help you growing in the grace of God.
CHURCH YOUNG
To “love God with all your heart” is “WORSHIP” -Magnification- Honor
To “love your Neighbor as yourself” Is “Ministry”- Ministry- Discover
To Go.Make Disciples Is ”Evangelism”- Mission -- Reach
To “Baptize them” Is to Incorporate into “Fellowship” membership- connect
To “Teach them”.. “All things” Is Discipleship” Mature - Grow.
The Church I’m strongly believe the growth because Jesus built it for the completion of the great Commission given to the NYCC.
Conclusion:
Why does the church exist?
To Celebrate God’s Goodness as A Church.
To Demonstrate God’s Divine Love.
