The greatest gifts anyone can receive come “from above”-from our Creator God James 1:17 And God offers us two gifts that are by far the most important that any human being can receive in this life. The first gift is the Forgiveness of Sins.

We need to be forgiven by God in order to be saved. Jesus’ blood is the only way for this to happen. We must humble ourselves and forgive others in order to receive forgiveness. Will you accept God’s forgiveness? This is good teaching for those who are struggling to understand forgiveness and BAPTISM.

Are you forgiven? Your eternal future depends on the answer to this serious question. The Bible teaches us that "there is none righteous, no, not one" (Romans 3:10).

The Second is the Indwelling Presence of God’s Holy Spirit

I Have A Good News:

1 John 5.13 John saying. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may KNOW that you have eternal life. AMEN!

Yes, upon responding the Gospel of Christ thru baptism then wonderful blessings comes by the forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Last Sunday, sermon “SAVED BY GRACE, AT BAPTISM” I emphasise that forgiveness has been delivered at the day of baptism. BAPTISM promise unmatched by anything the world has to offer.

Thus, there is nothing more characteristic of God’s grace than the act of baptism. This is where God promises to meet the sinner and give salvation by grace through faith In Him!

As I have said clearly, that Baptism Is God’s Promise, Work, and To EXERCISE Your FAITH.

After Baptism, the Holy Spirit dwell’s in the heart to ensure our faithfulness to the Lord of Heaven!

I. THINGS TO REMEMBER IN LIFE JOURNEY. We need to grow in all aspects unto Him, because He is the finisher of our faith. 1 John 5.13 John saying. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may KNOW that you have eternal life.

The do’s and don’t in life need to avoid. ..the seriousness of God in salvation, not only giving His Son, but death.

A. You Are A New Creature. The advertisement of Christianity begin with you.

Romans 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect Will.

  • By Virtue of Being In Christ. 2 Co 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.
  • Walk in Newness of Life - Rom. 6:3-4 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? GNT

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. KJV

B. You Are To Be A Good Example.

  • Be An Example of Those Who Believe - 1Ti 4:12 Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example for the believers in your speech, your conduct, your love, faith, and purity. GNT
  • Be An Example Deed and Word - Tit 2:7 In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness. NIV

Php 3:17 Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. NIV

II. THINGS TO DO BEFORE ETERNITY.

A. Make God Be First In Life. Matthew 22:37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. KJV

B. Be Serious In Assembling Each Sunday... Hebrews :10:24-25 Let us be concerned for one another, to help one another to show love and to do good. 25 Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer.

These two verses give us three things that we should be doing as the people of God: 1) let us consider how to stimulate one another; 2) let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together; 3) let us encourage one another

It is a time for fellowship, prayer, and on the first day of the week, the Lord's Supper - Ac 2:4242 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. KJV

Acts 20:7 On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight

1 Cor 11:23-26 23 For I received from the Lord the teaching that I passed on to you: that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took a piece of bread, 24 gave thanks to God, broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in memory of me.” 25 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup and said, “This cup is God's new covenant, sealed with my blood. Whenever you drink it, do so in memory of me.”

26 This means that every time you eat this bread and drink from this cup you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

-- Neglecting the assemblies is a symptom of Spiritual Stagnation!

CONCLUSION
