Life is too short.. Cherish it, Enjoy it now and do what Matters! How Are You All Today? Are enjoying serving the Lord?

A young boy once accompanied his mother to worship. During the sermon, the boy was listening very attentively to the lesson that day. The preacher's sermon on the crucifixion of Christ was so moving that the boy began to weep. Soon he began to cry aloud. His mother became so embarrassed that she whispered to him, "Don't take it so seriously."

How many people today do not take the cross of Christ seriously? Some people think that cross is some boring historical account that has no meaning in life.

If the cross of Christ is anything to the mind, it is surely everything-the most profound reality and mystery. One come to realize that literally ALL THE WEALTH AND GLORY OF THE GOSPEL CENTER HERE. The cross is the pivot as well as the center of the NT. Thought. It is the most exclusive mark of the Christian faith, the symbol of Christianity and its Cynosure. The glory of the cross is the result of Christ meditation on the Passion of the Lord, in His death on the cross in the midst of men WHO DENY THE HISTORISITY OF THE CRUCIFIXION AND THE NECESSITY OF THE ATONEMENT. BY SAMUEL ZWEMER

My friends, the cross, or the death of Jesus Christ, is the most significant event that this world has ever witnessed. It is the magna carta of Christianity. It is the Oscar of the religious world. It is the central theme of the Bible.

Yet to some people, the cross means very little.

Every Sunday when gather to worship God we partake of the Lords Supper. Many times we reflect up on how Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

TEXT: 18 For the Message of the Cross is Foolishness to Those Who Are Perishing, But to Us Who Are Being Saved it is the Power of God. 1 Cor. 1:18

The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing: To those who reject the salvation of the cross, the idea of being saved through the work of a crucified man is foolish.

To us who are being saved it is the power of God: Though it is a strange message, and regarded as foolish by the perishing, to those who trust in it and are being saved, this message of the cross becomes to them the actual power of God.

It from this concept that I started thinking more and more about what Jesus death on the cross declares for You and Me...that

1. The Man’s Guilt. God’s image was corrupted by sin- the evidence demonstrates that humanity totally Lost. The Bible declares that humanity is doom for punishment.

Romans 3:9-10 9 Well then, are we Jews in any better condition than the Gentiles? Not at all! I have already shown that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin. 10 As the Scriptures Say:“ There is no one who is righteous,

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom. 6:23- Eph. 2:1

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.- Isa. 59:2

2. Man’s become Hopelessness without Divine Grace. Eph. 2:8-9 For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. JN. 10:10

3. God’s Gracious Offer of Salvation.. Matthew 11:28-30- 28 “Come to me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit; and you will find rest. 30 For the yoke I will give you is easy, and the load I will put on you is light.”

5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim. 2:5

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord.

Conclusion:

3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all Perish. Luke 13:3

Do You Believe In Jesus? 36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them. JN. 3:36
