Psalm 37:7 - Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.

What is Patience?

• the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset
• Waiting without complaining

Pursuing Patience

1 Timothy 6:11 - But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

Ephesians 4:1-2 -¹As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. ² Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

1. Pray

1 John 5:14-15 - ¹⁴ This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. ¹⁵ And if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of him.
