Psalm 122:1 says, “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.” KJV

How Many of You Can Honestly Say that You Are Glad To Be in the house of the Lord?

Let Me Ask you another question? How Many of you really Enjoy You Life?

I personally believe that God wants us to be happy. That He wants us to enjoy this life. Which is what I think Jesus was saying in John 10:10 when he said, “I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.” KJV

Having a personal love relationship with Jesus Christ is what makes life worth living.

According to Leo Barbouta says: The Life you have left Is A gift- CHERISH IT, Enjoy It Now, to the fullest do what Matters Now.

Enjoy Life today, Yesterday is Gone ..Tomorrow May Never Come.

Believe In God no Matter What?

“Because He Lives I can face tomorrow; Because He lives all fear is gone; Because I know he holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives.”-

Someone once said, the pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; while the optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.

Be Positive- Every single one of us has a deep desire to know how to live life to the fullest.

1 Pet. 3:8-9 - We want to inherit a blessing -- we are called to life which secures it!

Suffering for Doing Right

8 To conclude: you must all have the same attitude and the same feelings; love one another, and be kind and humble with one another. 9 Do not pay back evil with evil or cursing with cursing; instead, pay back with a blessing, because a blessing is what God promised to give you when he called you.

If someone were to ask you, “Do you love life?” What would you say?

Do You Want A Good Marriage? Do you want to live a long and happy life with your spouse? If your answer is “Yes, that’s exactly what I want,” you need to pay close attention to the words of Peter recorded in First

How? 1 Peter 3:10-12:

10 For "He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit.
11 Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil."

I.  WHO IS ABLE TO LOVE LIFE& SEE GOOD DAYS?

A.  The One Who Understands Limitations Of Life. (Ecclesiastes).

1. Its balance (1:3-11; 3:1; 7:14).

3 You spend your life working, laboring, and what do you have to show for it? 4 Generations come and generations go, but the world stays just the same. 5 The sun still rises, and it still goes down, going wearily back to where it must start all over again. 6 The wind blows south, the wind blows north-round and round and back again. 7 Every river flows into the sea, but the sea is not yet full. The water returns to where the rivers began, and starts all over again. 8 Everything leads to weariness-a weariness too great for words. Our eyes can never see enough to be satisfied; our ears can never hear enough. 9 What has happened before will happen again. What has been done before will be done again. There is nothing new in the whole world. 10 “Look,” they say, “here is something new!” But no, it has all happened before, long before we were born. 11 No one remembers what has happened in the past, and no one in days to come will remember what happens between now and then.

A Time for Everything 3:1 Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses

14 When things are going well for you, be glad, and when trouble comes, just remember: God sends both happiness and trouble; you never know what is going to happen next.- 7:14

2.  Its joy (2:24; 3:12-13).

3.  Man's limitations.12:7. Our bodies will return to the dust of the earth, and the breath of life will go back to God, who gave it to us.

II.  HOW MUST WE LIVE IN ORDER TO LOVE LIFE?

A. Stop Evil Speech & The Evil Heart Which Causes It - 1 Pet. 3:10. 10 For "He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit.

Can you think of a time when you got so angry that you exploded and spewed destructive words? Were you sorry later that you said those words? That is what Peter is talking about here. He is basically saying, “If you want to have a long and happy life together, you have to learn how to refrain from saying ugly, hurtful, and destructive things to each other. It’s time for you to cease from this behavior!”

  1. Refrain - To restrain so as to cease or desist, to leave off.
  2. Action: Jas. 3:8-10
  3. Heart: Matt. 12:34-34 You snakes-how can you say good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. 35 A good person brings good things out of a treasure of good things; a bad person brings bad things out of a treasure of bad things.
36 “You can be sure that on the Judgment Day you will have to give account of every useless word you have ever spoken. 37 Your words will be used to judge you-to declare you either innocent or guilty.”

B.  Do Good - 1 Pet. 3:11.

C.  Seek Peace & Pursue It - 1 Pet. 3:11.

  1. Seek: In order to find.to crave
  2. Pursue: "to run swiftly in order to catch a person or thing, to run after.metaph., to pursue.to seek after eagerly, earnestly endeavor to acquire."

Rom. 12:18 Do everything possible on your part to live in peace with everybody.

2 Cor. 13:11 - Make peace with man and God. 11 And now, my friends, good-bye! Strive for perfection; listen to my appeals; agree with one another; live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.

1 Pet. 3:12-12 For the Lord watches over the righteous and listens to their prayers; but he opposes those who do evil.”

Pro. 5: 21 The Lord sees everything you do. Wherever you go, he is watching.

Prov. 15:3. 3 The Lord sees what happens everywhere; he is watching us, whether we do good or evil.

Conclusion:

Life is what it is intended to be when we "fear God and keep His commandments!"

Live and Love and Enjoy Life...
